Is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together all business and professional men and women of the greater Merrifield area; promoting better land use, transportation and general economic development; making public officials aware of the needs of the area; expressing its views through its publications; and attracting business which will enhance the area.

GMBA was founded in 1984 when a small group of concerned business and land owners came together to oppose a bus warehouse that Fairfax County had proposed in Merrifield. This group was successful, and now we have a beautiful multiplex theater instead of a bus yard.

Since that time, we have continued to grow with many diverse business members and new members are added each month.
