About our Silent Auction Beneficiary:
Design. Heal. Grow is what Room to Rebloom empowers. The effect of environment on mood, learning, and productivity is well documented, yet the neediest in our society rarely have access to an environment that promotes the very qualities they need most - improved mood, self-esteem, learning, and performance.
Interior designers recognize this connection of environment to personal well-being and often participate in projects to redesign shelters for homeless and battered women and families. However, there appears to be no such services for survivors of domestic violence in newly independent housing when confidence and hope are such important factors in their ability to rebuild their lives.
The mission of Room to Rebloom is to empower low income women and families in the National Capital Area who have been victims of domestic violence by providing them with design services and other resources needed to create beautiful home environments and rebuild their lives.
Join us in raising awareness for domestic violence and applauding Room to Rebloom as they continue to utilize the trade of interior design to rebuild lives.
